About the Book

Charlie the Cook is about a little girl named Charlie who falls in love with food through cookbooks and the stories behind the recipes she learns.  Caroline, the author who is also a professional cook and food writer, wanted to introduce parents and their kids to the idea of food as a career. She wrote an empowering text about her own food journey in rhyming couplets. Her dear friend Michael Horner drew charming illustrations to pair with her words.

The book is hardcover with high quality, full color pages. The age range is somewhere around 5 and up.
